Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Animator to join their growing team!
As a Senior Animator, you’ll be expected to create high fidelity 1st and 3rd person animations. Knowledge of real-life weaponry and how it is handled is a must.
A deep passion for gameplay that both looks and feels great to play is necessary to help navigate this ever-changing landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Use Motion Capture and Hand-Keyed Techniques to create high-fidelity player animations
  • Implement animations in Unreal Engine by working with designers and engineers
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve gameplay goals that both look and feel top notch
  • Help define and improve both DCC and Game engine animation pipeline
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving animation issues
  • Provide feedback and advice to other animators
  • Actively advance skill set and abilities by keeping aware of industry trends and techniques, evaluating competitive products, and learning new software packages
     

You need to have

  • 7+ years professional animation experience developing AAA titles
  • Experience in Unreal Engine
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools
  • Extensive experience animating in Maya
  • Excellent hand-key animation skills
  • Strong animation fundamentals with a focus on human movement
  • Contribute and be part of a highly creative team, giving and receiving feedback
  • Ability to mentor less senior animation staff
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with other disciplines and departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills
